I will be using these books in my classroom daily. Each week I will have a theme, example - “community helpers”. I can read to my students how important community helpers are in our town. My students can also learn that in books you can find important information. Books can show my student if they need to know something they can read a book. When reading these books I will also discuss with my students that someone wrote the book, called the author then I will say the author’s name.
