This past year taught us all that the school-home connection is a valuable resource and that my students and parents enjoyed having access to the materials we use at school. My goal is to create a system for my beginning readers to extend their learning to home with fun and engaging items they can choose to check out for use at home throughout the year. I would like to have a range of items for my students to check out in order to hold their interest throughout the year of learning.
