Carpet time/area will be the main meeting area for the class throughout the year. We will start our day on the carpet every morning and continue to transition to and from the carpet throughout the day.
Carpet time is essential for Kindergarten. The students will learn how to follow routines and rules, learn to be a kind friend, listen to stories, sing and learn what school is all about. Students at this age need to constantly be on the move. With this special area in our classroom students can transition out of their desks and move around.
