My students enjoy interacting in activities that involve color and graphics and are more likely to complete a task using modern technology. I desire to give 20 students their own devices with your help. We do several lessons on College and Career Readiness, and technology is a much-needed resource for the learning outcomes. This school year, we will take a virtual trip to a country of their choice. Students will have to research the following (but not limited to): transportation, housing, clothing, food, education system, cost of living, culture, religion, and beliefs. They will also have two create a financial plan for each area. When working with graphs and graphic organizers, color is a better option for grasping concepts and completing the tasks. I can imagine how well they will do on this project/assessment by having a reliable computer to research and bring their ideas to life with printed materials. My students will be able to build on prior knowledge during this project. Just imagine the limitless possibilities that will be granted to two, my students, by taking their learning to a new level.
