More than 85% of my students are on free and reduced lunch. Many of my students are low struggling readers who lack motivation to increase their reading levels. As a result, my students have difficulties across content areas as well as, low self esteem. My school is a Title 1 middle school with low parental involvement, low grades and low test scores.
