Every student learns differently. Studies have shown that allowing students to choose how they learn, including seating preference, helps their mind and body learn at their greatest abilities. Students in my classroom can work in different locations around the room; on the floor, at their desk, at my table, etc. When students are comfortable working, they will work harder, try their best, and be more motivated to continue their learning journey.
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their own learning. Student choice increases engagement and motivation. The products I have chosen will give students seating choices while working on their desks, tables, or floor. However, they are comfortable.
I have seen the benefits of flexible seating options and greatly anticipate student growth when students take ownership of their learning.
