I am a first-year teacher who got the opportunity of teaching early. However, with this opportunity came very few supplies for my class. I know most of my list is odd-end things but they are items I believe will help my students learn so much! I want all of my students to feel welcomed and comfortable in their learning environment. I want them to also be able to create beautiful things through imagination.
I have chosen a variety of seating for my students to use. I chose lamps so that they can be used instead of the bright ceiling lights. I chose a rug for my classroom meeting spot. I chose multicultural art supplies so that all cultures feel welcomed and appreciated.
