The padlocks and keys are used to create a fun, engaging math activity! Students are challenged to match keys with math equations to padlocks with the correct solution. This resource is perfect to provide differentiated instruction for each student! I have a variety of students in my classroom that are below grade level, meet grade level, and are above grade level; therefore, it is important to provide each student with the specific skills they need to practice. I can include multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction facts on each set, and change the equations as the students master each skill.
