The use of calculators in middle school serve as a pivotal tool as students begin to dive deeper into their thinking and understanding of math. Calculators will help students to be able to problem solve more efficiently and be able to think deeper. Calculators are not cheap, so I want to help to take the burden off of parents by providing calculators that students can use in my classroom. These sets will stay in my room and be checked in and out each day by students. I am so thankful for this opportunity to be able to provide to these students a love for math. It starts with them having each and every tool they need to be successful.
