I have chosen titles that will be both comprehensible and engaging to my students.
These books will benefit my students both academically as well as socially-emotionally. The opportunity to read materials at each students' "just right" level is key to their linguistic growth. And, the dilemmas and conflicts that the characters face in these books are rich content for discussing social-emotional issues. My students and I are so excited to open the pages of these books and transport ourselves into new worlds!
