The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help the teacher and paraprofessionals create meaningful learning and connections with our special ed (AU) students in the classroom. Since our students are mostly visual learners we will need materials like scissors, velcro, labels, cutter and so much more that we can easily access to use to create an everyday colorful visual schedule, pictures that are authentic to them and that can help them connect into their everyday lives.
"Even though some things are harder for my students, you'll be amazed at what they can do to achieve. Their successes may not be the same as the rest of the class, but they are still something to be proud of."
