These flexible seating options will be used throughout my 2nd grade classroom during the whole school day. Students in my room are able to move around the room and work in different places and sitting styles. This helps students to be comfortable while they work and it gives them a little bit of freedom in their choices. I don't like sitting in the same chair all day long in one place, why would they? My students like to get up, move, and wiggle. They're only 2nd graders, I believe that they need to move and be comfortable to optimize their learning.
