Our school district supplies us with educational toys and supplies but our classroom is lacking items to increase imaginary play and play with other peers. These toys will help them with their IEP goals of working with others as they increase their language skills along with their social skills.
My students have special needs and these items will help to increase their social skills and language skills and help them work together with their peers. With coming back to school after the pandemic, many of my 3-5 year olds have not had the opportunity to play and work with other children their age and these toys will help them begin to work on their social skill goals and help increase their language skills and their social-emotional learning.
