Kindergarten kids are so excited to go to school! It is such an exciting time and my job as a teacher is to foster that excitement for learning and continue to keep my students engaged! As the education system continues to push for a larger emphasis on STEM, I try to give my kindergarten kids a love of math and science early! Kids love hands-on activities. The math number boards will help kids see patterns in numbers and learn sequencing in a fun, tactile way. Time for Kids is a fun way for the kids in my class to explore the world around them! The pictures are bright and engaging and the kids love learning new things. I have found that small children love nonfiction and are excited when we talk about 'real world' topics.
