Our school is the smallest school in our district, yet it's overflowing. We just got an addition to our school and then had to add 3 new teachers and we are still putting small classes in rooms that weren't meant to be classrooms. We have loving parents who try very hard to help in any way possible, but with the economy now and our county losing it's biggest plant (Hartco) to a complete shut down and the local coal mines shutting down, we are hard pressed and things are slow here. My students are my "smarties" and I tell them everyday just how smart they are. They try very hard, are SO eager to please and never cease to amaze me with their abilities. They are loving and amazingly the first class I've had that doesn't point out others faults. Each one will help at the drop of a dime and will give you their ice cream money if they know you don't have any. They have been my most challenging class but definitely my most loving and giving.
