Flexible seating is very important for students to feel comfortable where they are learning. I loved having several options to sit and read when I went to school. I want to give my students the same choice. Third graders need to move throughout the day and giving them an option to move from their assigned desk to another flexible seating choice is tremendously important. These flexible seating options will be used during math games, independent reading, and any partner study project. I imagine my classroom meeting the needs of every student and this is why flexible seating is power!
