My school is considered a Title I school, which means that it is located in a low income area. Many students do not come to school with needed supplies such as pencils, crayons, scissors, and erasers. Supplies such as pencils and crayons help students to be creative with any lesson that is taught. When students have the supplies that they need, they are successful! Every summer I search for the best deals on school supplies that my students will need. I then create pencil boxes that are stocked and ready to go! I never want a student to come to my classroom mid-year and not have anything to put in their supply bin. Your donations will help me to create fully stocked pencil boxes that are ready for use!
It is so hard to sit all day in your seat and learn. Flexible seating will help my students wiggle, move throughout the room, and choose which seating will help them learn best! Being able to choose your seat and space to work in can greatly benefit a child and the type of work that they produce. If a child is comfortable where they are working, they are more likely to produce quality work and always submit their best!
Thank you for taking the time to look at our classroom project!
