A classroom rug in an essential part of the environment and the community that forms within it. A classroom rug is not just a place to sit, it is where we come together to share parts of our day. Many important things happen at the rug!
At the rug, activities are modeled, stories are read, group learning takes place, problems are solved, social skills are learned, friendships are made, and most importantly a classroom community is formed! The rug is a safe space for students and friends to learn, share, play, and work together.
Please help us get a new classroom rug and enhance the environment of our amazing students!
