The materials that I am requesting already have a place within my classroom. They will help students to learn to think critically, explore, create and allow them to have hands-on experience working with different tools/manipulatives. It will also help students to come into the classroom and instead of immediately working on a worksheet they will have the autonomy to pick which STEM bin/ morning tub to work on for the day. Engagement is a key factor within the classroom. When students are engaged they learn and excel. While doing these STEM bins/morning tubs students will be engaged and able to excel in their own way. Having these materials for my students will help them to think outside the box, take control of their own learning, and set them up for success!
