We are back in the classroom, yet instruction has to continue evolving to provide skills and experiences that challenge and appeal to our students. During pandemic times, we have learned how appropriate technology use can provide remote learning. Technology is here to stay to help students succeed!
Coming to the classroom from a technology background, I have observed first-hand that challenging technology experiences positively affect my students' work and demeanor, and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more! Having an Oculus Quest 2 in our class would allow students to travel the world and 'experience it' from the classroom environment.
From history, art, nature, and environment, to museums and walking the streets of a Spanish-speaking country, students will 'live' experiences that distance would make impossible. In this tech-literate world, Oculus will increase their engagement!
