I have so many students who are reluctant readers. The only time they seem to enjoy reading is when they check out a graphic novel. I started teaching last year and I would love to expand my graphic novel collection with more options for books the kids actually want to read! I have included several books that are included in a district reading competition so my students can participate! My hope is that with a larger variety of graphic novels students will find one that they love and builds their love for reading!
