Having headphones in the classroom will support students as they are learning on the computer at times in the classroom or possibly at home. Funding these headphones will take the financial burden off parents who may not be able to afford headphones over things like pencils and erasers. Students will learn to be accountable for something that they are borrowing as part of the classroom materials and take responsibility if something happens to them. Students can use this learned responsibility in other parts of the classroom when using other borrowed school materials such as Chromebooks, library books, scissors, etc.
