What would you like to see children do on a rainy day when they cannot go outside to play? I want to see my students put away their computers, and instead be engaged with one another in hands-on activities and games.
Playing high-interest card and board games will naturally provide students opportunities to build, draw, reason, and problem-solve in a fun and entertaining way with one another. Play is essential to cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children. It will spark creativity, teamwork, and continued development of communication and interrelationship skills.
