By receiving these headphones my students will be able to focus and work on their assessments without disruptions. Their major assessments often have listening portions, where they have to listen and respond. However, a struggle we've faced this year is that students don't have headphones or have lost the ones they've received the year prior. So far this year during our diagnostics, students who don't have headphones end up just guessing on the questions or are forced to listen to the voice on a very low level. I hope to get them what they need so that all students are able to successfully complete everything to the best of their abilities.
Another way this will help my classroom is because I constantly have students who are put on quarantine, forcing them to revert to virtual learning. The struggle for these students is that they aren't able to focus because of the constant noise from outside or from siblings that distract them and keep them from listening throughout the school day.
