After a tough year for high schoolers- I would like to provide a more engaging school year by allowing students to partake in outdoor class simulations and large-scale student body events. I would like to purchase an iPad that will be used in my Advanced Placement Economics class as well as the Associated Student Body Leadership Class. I plan to use the iPad to take our Economics activities outdoors. There are several physical and hands-on lessons and programs that I typically run, such as AP Bootcamp, that with the current Covid situation, would be better facilitated in an outdoor setting. The iPad will help me demonstrate the lesson outdoors, keep track of progress, and take photos.
For the ASB Leadership class, I will also use the iPad to keep participation points using our class app, especially when we are setting up for events outside, as well as allowing me to physically take digital notes and feedback when not at my desk. We will also use the iPad to set up photo booths at outdoor events such as Homecoming, College and Career Commitment Day, Home Football Games, Pep Rallies, and much more!
