It has always been a dream of mine to enhance my classroom library. By incorporating rich, beautiful, diverse text, my students will have the chance to see themselves represented within the pages of the books they are reading. These books, attractively displayed in this gorgeous unit will provide a glimpse into the lives of others. I have always been an advocate for the promotion of cultural sensitivity and awareness of others. This project will open the eyes, ears, and hearts of my young readers as they relate to the characters experiences, problems and resolutions within the stories.
