This past year was especially tough trying to give my students what they need to help them become better readers, writers, and humans due to a global pandemic. More and more high school students are entering my classroom reading at a significantly lower reading level than in previous years. After doing a great deal of researching to find a reading curriculum to help my students, I discovered a digital reading curriculum on Teachers Pay Teachers. They offer a full year digital and print reading curriculum to support students and provide engagement and rigor in the classroom.
With your help, I would love to be able to teach using a variety of differentiated strategies that will increase reading confidence and interest for my students. I strive to help my students meet the goals I have developed for them as well as the goals they have developed for themselves. We are building a classroom of lifelong learners.
