Sitting in a chair all day is hard enough as an adult, so its even harder for a kindergartener! During COVID, the rug from my classroom was taken away and never replaced. My favorite part of kindergarten was story time on the carpet. I want to give my students that same memory. The carpet will also allow students to opportunity to get up and move around.
This carpet will be used multiple times throughout the day during math, reading, science, and social studies.
It is one of the most important items in a classroom to foster learning and to build our classroom community.
