By funding a printer and the associated supplies, you will be helping my students build professional portfolios to use in the workforce! It is a requirement that all third year students build a portfolio that contains a resume, cover letter, reference page, and contain examples of their work. We are in a Title 1 school district where many students are unable to afford to print their assignments due to the cost. By having a printer of their own in my room, they will be able to print and build their portfolios to take with them once they complete the healthcare pathway. I hope to have them ready for the workforce, if that is their choice upon graduation.
