These materials will make my students stronger in reading and in math. A lot of my students struggle with memory and need repetition, and the flashcards will help with repetition. Many of my students are working on fluency, and these fluency passages will be a wonderful, high interest way for them to practice. Finally, many of my students are reading around the 2nd or 3rd grade level, but they are in 4th and 5th grade. Due to their reading levels, many of my students refrain from selecting books in their classroom libraries. If I could continue to build our classroom library with books at my students level that they enjoy reading, their reading levels will improve and they will develop a love for reading.
