Last year was challenging! Not only for the teachers and parents, but mostly for the students. Our students had to remain focused in an at home learning environment, where all their toys were in reach. They had to be problem solvers when questions couldn't be answered RIGHT away due to simultaneous teaching. They had to be resilient when there were internet issues. Most of all, just like the rest of us, they had to be flexible! As the students return to the face to face classroom, I would like to introduce them to flexible seating. Flexible seating for our flexible students! Children need to move! Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, stand, which releases oxygen to their brain. Flexible seating also builds a community in a classroom, holds students accountable for their learning and their seating choice, supports focus and makes the classroom a fun and enjoyable place to be. Your support with this project, will help students who have proven their flexibility in different work spaces, be successful this year!

About my class
