We enjoy using arts and crafts in our classroom to enhance our learning and work on our motor skills. Using the scissors and activities from Teachers Pay Teachers we can get our students learning in a way that is enjoyable for them, shows their progression, and also working on those motor skills that are so important to everyday functioning.
Having sensory toys in our classroom is a great way to reward our students for their hard work but also to help calm students when their feelings or surroundings are just a little intense. At the moment, our classroom is lacking in sensory toys that the students enjoy but also to help with regulating their feelings and the world around them. The sensory toys are also a great way to work on motor skills.
The items I chose for my classroom can help our students who are ELL and also just to give the classroom a little more pop of color and life.
