Reading Plus is an online, adaptive literacy program that helps students become proficient readers by building fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and motivation to read. My classroom's Life Skills curriculum focuses on the students using assistance to read instead of becoming proficient readers themselves. There is no formal Reading program in my classroom focusing on bridging that gap to becoming better readers. Access to this program will provide further instruction and practice in this area so that my students will become readers! My students will also practice their technical skills while using this program.
