I am a first grade teacher working in a Title I school located in the Papaklea community. My students come from various backgrounds, with majority of them qualifying for free and reduced lunch.
My classroom is full of inquisitive learners. They love exploring and doing hands-on activities. I try to incorporate different strategies to increase student engagement in my lessons. I find that the most effective strategies include hands-on learning and interactive collaboration.
