My students and myself have been tasked with fully virtual learning for the last year and a half due to COVID-19.
As most schools move back to in-person learning, we are unable to do so because we lost our campus and have yet to move into a new one. I will use teachers pay teachers resources to fund and adapt my curriculum within the virtual classroom and outside when we are able.
In the meantime, I have an opportunity to meet with students once a week in a public location such as a park. I want to use NASA's STEM curriculum to engage my three subject areas (life, physical, and earth/space science) with hands-on cross-curricular activities that facilitate critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
