I’m excited to purchase books for my students to read in my classroom. After students finish their work, they will have a cache of awesome books from which to choose. Now I have only a pitiful collection of old, stained books, unappealing to sixteen-year-olds.
When the cover of a new book grabs a student’s attention, she will be enticed to reach for it. After she gets hooked by the first few pages, she will experience the joy of reading. During class, instead of itching to get on her phone, she will look forward to cracking open her new book to see what happens next! This will not happen unless donors like you help.
