I have a variety of students in my classroom. I would love to provide diverse literacy materials in my classroom that represent my students. It is important for my students to see themselves in literature as we explore and celebrate difference within our four walls. At four years old it is important to instill the inclusivity of others who may look, speak or act differently than they do. My students need to feel empowered in their own skin in order to be successful in their educational journey.
