Literacy is important to child development including verbal language. During our Read Everyday program, board books are sent home daily with each child. Since we have a limited number of books to lend out, the same books are sent home. A variety of new books will help build our library so the same books are not sent home too soon. Outdoor play is a much-needed time for young children. An additional bike and helmets to practice trike safety will help more children practice their trike skills during outdoor play.
