My goal with this project to support the young artists of my community and to help bring my students' artwork to complete fruition. Being an art teacher brings a world of opportunity to students who are still learning how to communicate their needs and wants in their own lives and the lives around them. My goal is to provide as much opportunity as possible for my students to create artwork that will develop their critical thinking skills, creative making skills, and emotional/social skills. By having supplies such as a photo printer, allows my photography students to see their artwork in the same light as they would see their idols' works in a gallery. This realization can amplify the positive outcomes young artists need to feel able, worthy and so much more. All this recognition flows over into their lives, not just as artists, but as young adults and members of their community.
