No student wants to show up the first day of school without school supplies feeling unprepared for the school year. As we return to in-person learning, students will need individual notebooks. In a typical school year, I always have students who show up to class without needed supplies. I provide students with as many supplies as I can, but I anticipate the number to be greater than any other year. By ensuring that each student has the necessary supplies, I will start my math class knowing that each student can learn effectively. This will also help to alleviate financial stress on families who may have other financial priorities during this pandemic. A student's education should not suffer due to the hardships faced.
