All of my students are getting used to being in a classroom full time again. Right now, I only have regular chairs for them to sit in. By providing them with flexible seating, students will be able to choose where they want to sit in order to make them more successful.
I have many students who struggle with hyperactivity. They have shared with me that they believe they can be more successful if they have a chair that doesn't make them sit still.
While I am teaching students will be welcome to "wobble" on their chairs. This will help them to manage their impulsivity.
I truly believe that these students need to be provided with the necessary seating that will make them thrive this school year. Each child is different and I believe we need to accommodate their needs.
