This project is designed to expand our class library! I love reading to the students, then involving the students in literacy projects and reading.
By adding sensory teaching tools, the students will learn to write and answer questions about the stories they heard. The sensory items will help the students pay attention or give a much-needed break from academics. Science of Reading is used to teach the student to read, and the letter manipulatives will assist with letter recognition and creating words. Sometimes the students act out the stories I read!
Plus I added math manipulatives!
