The building materials selected will give students in this Title I school an opportunity to work with hands on materials, that they may not otherwise be able to purchase on their own. The goal is in meeting math, science, social studies and art standards, as well as in addressing speaking and listening skills, the Hawaii Multi Tiered Systems of Support, and the 8 Habits. The projects will be used as centers, with students working in groups, rotating weekly, and reporting/recording data to the class of their progress and next steps.
