Materials being requested in this project are a combination of teacher classroom supplies, class book sets, and recess needs.
For the first time, my classroom will be an inclusion room mixed with students of various learning needs and reading levels. The class book sets will help to foster community in our classroom and create important discussion points for the class.
After a year of blended and distance learning students are eager to get back to school and play and learn with their friends. Recess is an important part of the day, which is why rubber bouncy balls are a necessity to encourage physical activity and fun outside.
Having more adults in the classroom means more room for collaboration and organization is needed. Rolling carts in the classroom will help to organize various stations so students are able to work in groups and each teacher can roll the needed supplies over. An extra chair will be helpful for stations and also for our educational assistant who will be coming in to help with students throughout the day.
While students are in school it is important to make them feel engaged and having fun while learning. Mini whiteboard paddles for each student will help create a fun way for students to share out answers and even show their work during math.
Throughout the school year I am constantly utilizing Teachers Pay Teachers because they have the best teacher-made resources for every subject area. I like to purchase project resources, worksheets, graphic organizers, and more!
