Last year was difficult due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My students went through many changes such as distance learning, blended learning, and fully in person learning. Due to the difficult year, my students need extra support and differentiation. Our teacher workroom printer is often jammed or broken. As we live in Hawai'i, ordering parts and waiting for someone to fix the printer usually take a while. With the ever changing status of school, students need to be prepared to learn both at school and at home. This printer and ink subscription will make the biggest difference for my students this year, as they are learning at various levels. This will allow me to access differentiated activities and lessons. This printer will allow me to print worksheets, projects, learning packets, enrichment activities, and reinforcement work for all students. Though my students will have online resources to learn, I believe that nothing can replace paper and pencil fundamental basics. The Instant Ink subscription will allow me to print up to 700 pages of colored copies each month for one year. This printer will give me and my students peace of mind to know that if the teacher workroom printer is not working, I am still able to provide my students with the materials they need to be successful learners.
