Help provide my students with banding wheels for an exciting ceramic classroom. As I initiate my ceramic program this year, we needed a lot of ceramic supplies. Although the banding wheel is one of the required materials in high school ceramics, we have none of them in the classroom.
The banding wheels that I requested will help every hand-building ceramic project that we will create while creating forms and decorating pots with glazes. My lessons(projects) are Hawaii Culture and Place-Based ceramic projects so each project will be unique to my students who value where they are from.
A banding wheel is an essential tool to make centered and balanced work, and to see the multiple facets of their hand-built ceramics. I hope this ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ project will impact my art classroom positively and that my students can think about thier artwork in a centered, balanced, and multifaceted way.
