I am requesting a large white board easel in a frame and dry erase markers. Students can work common problems together on wall whiteboards. They will stand and work and have discussions with partners. Great way to differentiate instruction as well as work with small groups to identify where exactly kids struggle in the process of equation solving.
The goal is to build a Math 360 capacity by splitting boards up into segments where each kid will work instead of at an individual desk working on paper. As the teacher I can watch the work of all students at once and catch errors as they happen instead of afterward when students are not around.
