My students will be able to create their own meaningful literacy experiences with hands-on activities that provide them with ownership of their knowledge and reflection of prior learning. They will be able to create moments of success as they create and replicate words, while also having the autonomy to work through words they may struggle with in a safe environment that promotes growth. The students may work independently or with a less or more knowledgeable partner to provide scaffolding and growth through shared knowledge. These activities also help children to explore literacy in fun and unique ways!
