I am requesting hands-on toys to help make stories come to life! Preschool students love to listen to stories! Classic fairy tales are great tools to help students learn how to tell a story because they follow a familiar structure with a beginning, middle, and end. Reading and retelling familiar stories helps them develop the skills they need to express themselves and to be able to tell stories about things that they have experienced. Using hands-on objects helps children act out and remember details of familiar stories. This helps them grow in their abilities to tell a story in correct sequence and with important details, which is a critical skill for children to develop for academic success!
