This year, we are expressing our existence through some of the popular media today. For a final project, students will be challenged to make their own podcast, short film, music album, short story collection, or poetry expressing what it’s like to be a teenager in Bamberg, South Carolina in the years 2021 and 2022. I want my students to acquire hands-on experience writing, recording, directing, acting, and producing content that tells their stories. Throughout the semester, we will read literature that tells the stories of people who desired to leave a piece of them here for others to consume in their own human experience. Help me help these future world leaders unlock the doors to their own potential!

About my class
